VELORA is a brand at the beginning of its journey. We are honest about where we are, transparent about where we want to go, and committed to the work between.
“We will not claim certifications we do not hold or recycling percentages we cannot prove. What we can do is show you our thinking — and hold ourselves to it.”
We are working toward sourcing fabrics that reduce environmental impact — including recycled fibers, low-impact dyes, and blends that aim to use less water in production. This is a journey we are actively building, not a destination we have arrived at.
Overproduction is one of the fashion industry’s largest sources of waste. VELORA is designed with a pre-launch waitlist model — we aim to understand demand before committing to production runs, reducing excess inventory and unsold stock.
We intend to ship VELORA in minimal, recyclable packaging. No excess tissue layers, no single-use plastics. We are designing our packaging to be reusable where possible and compostable where it is not.
The most sustainable garment is one that does not need replacing. VELORA pieces are designed to hold their shape, support, and colour through hundreds of wears. We offer care guidance with every purchase to help her wardrobe last.
As we grow, we will publish an annual transparency report — detailing our material sources, our production partners, and where we fell short of our own intentions.
We believe accountability is not a marketing asset. It is the cost of doing this with integrity.
